C-Capture appoints Imafidon Gift Jesurobo-Owie as Data Scientist

C-Capture, developers of world-leading chemical processes for the removal of carbon dioxide, are delighted to welcome Imafidon Gift Jesurobo-Owie who joins the team as a Data Scientist.

Gift supports the analysis of research data for C-Capture’s unique carbon capture technology. Based on fundamentally different chemistry to currently available technologies, C-Capture’s innovative solution uses less energy, is environmentally benign and extremely robust so able to withstand the aggressive flue gases created by industries that are difficult to decarbonise. Joining as Data Scientist, Gift plays a a key role in supporting C-Capture as it aims to demonstrate, then deploy, its next-generation carbon capture technology internationally and across a broad range of industrial sectors to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.

With 13 years of data analysis experience within the financial sector, Gift’s skills include project management; data and business analytics; risk management; and business intelligence and compliance. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants in Nigeria. Gift has a distinction in MSc Data Science from the University of Salford. He completed his dissertation on the relationships between sustainable development goals and socioeconomic factors in lower-income countries.
