
C-Capture, the designer of world-leading and innovative chemical processes for carbon dioxide removal, has appointed Phil Southerden as Chief Technology Commercialisation Officer. Phil brings with him over 30 years of industry experience across a wide range of upstream, refining, chemical and renewable businesses including hydrogen, power and CCS. Phil is a senior chartered chemical engineer, with a strong international track record of delivery in both technical and commercial roles within technology development and commercialisation, venturing and licensing businesses.
Phil’s previous experience includes 25 years at bp specialising in technology development, licensing and commercialisation. This was followed by 3 years in the Middle East with Saudi Aramco and a further two years working for a small technology start-up focusing on sustainable chemicals and recycling technologies. Phil holds a B. Eng. in Chemical Engineering from University College London.
