C-Capture has been named as a global top 100 innovator in a new report released this week.
The inaugural report, Global energy transition: the top 100 innovators by Reuters Events reflects on the state of innovation across the world’s energy industry. It examines leading developments within clean energy technology, strategy and sustainable investment; highlighting the key organisations who are shaping the energy industry of the future.
C-Capture – who design world-leading chemical processes for carbon dioxide (CO2) removal to help mitigate the impacts of climate change – are included as one of the key innovators in the report’s section on carbon capture, storage and utilisation.

Tom White, CEO, C-Capture, said:
“We’re delighted to be named as a top 100 innovator globally. Our unique, next generation technology is truly an innovation in carbon capture as it’s based on fundamentally different chemistry than current commercially available solutions. Our technology is environmentally safe and uses significantly less energy – making it a low-cost solution for industries requiring CO2 separation from emissions.
“Carbon capture technology can – and needs to – play an integral role in the path to net zero and we believe our solution is a game-changer in creating a decarbonised world.”
